Hi to everyone reading this site and thank you for taking the time out to do so , basically I am creating this site to hopefully raise awareness of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). My reason for this is I have recently tested HIV positive (23/10/2007) and now I am aiming to hopefully warn people away from the dangers of which HIV is passed on by , which will be covered in the page 'How HIV Is Contracted' , I can only hope that people will find this site useful and hopefully not make the same mistakes I have made. Over time I would like to become a positive speaker or an outreach worker and I can only hope this website will be my first step on the ladder. Over time as this website progresses and I become more comfortable with myself and my status I will most likely create a questions and answers page or a community board where people can come along and ask whatever they like regarding the subject or how the virus affects everyday life etc . . . .
